HOW TO REGISTER USING CAMPINTOUCH

CampInTouch is our secure registration system to register for Camp Kalsman programs (Summer Sessions, NFTY NW, Taste of Kalsman, and other year-round Camp Kalsman programming). It should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete the online registration process, depending on what programs you are registering for. You will have the option to save your application and finish it later. However, the session you select will not be reserved for you until you finish and submit your application, so we recommend that you finish your application in one sitting.

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Your credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) or your checking account info (to enter e-check payment)
  • Emergency contact names and phone numbers

RETURNING FAMILIES You already have a CampInTouch account if you registered for Camp Kalsman in 2014 or later, or if you registered for a NFTY NW event in September of 2019 or later. Use your CampInTouch login to register a new camper or a returning camper. (If you don’t remember your login, click “Retrieve/SetPassword” on the login page to recover it.)

NEW FAMILIES Click the 'Begin your Application' button – and then create a new account with your email and a password of your choice.

Please make sure to save your login information for future use!

After registering your first child and reach the final “Application Submitted” screen, click the “Begin New Application” link. All the information for your first child will be saved as you begin the application for your next child.

The application will assign the person completing the online form as “Primary” parent/guardian and this person will have the main login for the account. You can add additional parents/guardian contact information and email addresses to the account, but the camp will consider the “Primary” person as the main point of contact by default.

PAYING A DEPOSIT  You will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 per session, per session for Summer Camp sessions. Payments may be made by E-check, Paper Check, Debit Card (all without surcharge) and Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover). Families that choose to pay by credit card will incur a non-refundable 2.75% credit card transaction surcharge. To avoid the surcharge, you are encouraged to pay by E-check. We cannot confirm your child's enrollment until we have received the $200 per session deposit.

PAYING SUMMER BALANCE After your application is accepted and deposit paid, 25% of tuition is due by January 25th, 2022. By March 25th, an additional 50% of tuition is due (75% of tuition paid). Final payment is due by April 25th. You are welcome to pay all or part of your camp fees prior to that date. Payment deadlines are flexible for those seeking scholarship assistance. Please contact campkalsman@urj.org to make special payment arrangements.

PAYING for NFTY, Taste of Kalsman, and all other Non-Summer Programs  Payment is due in full at time of registration for all non-summer programming such as NFTY NW events, Taste of Kalsman, Apple Picking Havdallah, etc.

Note: If you have applied for an Kalsman scholarship for a summer session, you will receive any award notifications in Spring, and we will adjust your final balance accordingly.

Please note that communications sent from or through CampInTouch to email addresses sometimes get filtered to a spam folder. Please check your spam folder following registration if you do not receive a confirmation of enrollment. If you still have not received an email, please give the office a call.

You will receive an emailing confirming that you are on the waiting list. You will not be charged the deposit to be on a waiting list. Should a spot open for you at any time, we will contact you immediately to confirm your desire to register for the spot. It's impossible to predict if this will happen though, so we encourage you to register for another session in the meantime. If you decide to register your child for another session, we will still keep them on the waiting list for your preferred session and you would have the option to switch sessions if a spot opens.
